A friendly reminder that on Monday, May 26th, all KCT branches will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27th.

Federal lawmakers are working on tax reforms. They need to know how eliminating the credit union federal income tax status would hurt the very people they were elected to serve. 

The KCT Gail Borden Main Branch will be closed on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, in observance of a Library Staff Training Day. Other KCT locations will be available during this time.

Regular business hours at the Gail Borden Main Branch will resume on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.

The KCT branch at Elgin Community College will be closed Monday, March 31st, through Sunday, April 6th, for the college's Spring Recess. All other KCT branches will be operating on regular business hours during this time.

Regular hours at the ECC branch will resume on Monday, April 7th, 2025. 

A friendly reminder that on Monday, February 17th, all KCT branches will be closed in observance of Presidents' Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, February 18th.

On Monday, January 20th, all KCT branches will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 21st.

Friendly reminder that all KCT Branches & the Contact Center will be observing Holiday Hours on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st, and January 1st, 2025.

The Elgin Main, Aurora, Geneva, and Carpentersville branches will close at 1pm on 12/24 and 12/31, and be closed all day on 12/25 and 01/01/25. 

The Gail Borden Library Main Branch (downtown Elgin) will be closed all day on December 24th - 25th, and December 31st - January 1st.

The KCT branch at Elgin Community College will be closed starting at 5pm on Monday, December 23rd, and will remain closed through Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, in observance of ECC's Winter Recess.

Regular business hours at the ECC branch will resume on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. 

Friendly reminder that on Thursday, November 28th, all KCT branches will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day. Regular business hours will resume on Friday, November 29th.

December 1, 2024, will mark the legal merger of KCT Credit Union and Consumers Credit Union. This is the first step on our path toward a bright future for members of both institutions. April 3, 2024: Two Illinois Credit Unions - Elgin-based KCT Credit Union and Lake Forest headquartered Consumers Credit Union - have announced their intent to pursue a merger later this year, subject to regulatory and member approvals. The companies will continue to operate as Consumers Credit Union, and after merging will be the 5th largest credit union in Illinois, with nearly $4 Billion in total assets and over 260,000 members.

The KCT branch at Elgin Community College will be closed starting Monday, March 25th, through Sunday, March 31st, for the college's Spring Recess. All other KCT branches will be operating on regular business hours during this time. Regular hours at the ECC branch will resume on Monday, April 1st, 2024.

In partnership with Village Fresh Market, KCT is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of our newest branch, located inside Village Fresh Market at 350 Lake Marian Road, Carpentersville Illinois. The Grand Opening celebration will take place on Wednesday, October 18th from 3-5pm, with a ribbon cutting at 4pm.

Free food and refreshments will be served. The public is invited to celebrate this unique partnership between two local organizations both dedicated to serving their community.

The Grand Opening event will take place from 3-5pm on Wednesday, July 19th, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4pm.
